Enough Evidence For Accused Kidnapper and Child Molester To Go To Trial

LOMPOC, Calif.- A 14-year-old Lompoc girl comes face to face Friday with the man accused of kidnapping and molesting her.

Friday morning, a judge told 47-year-old Saul Padilla there is enough evidence to go to trial for the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a girl he met online.

The 14-year old victim testified that Padilla sent naked pictures to her posing as a 15-year-old and convinced her to meet him back in January. That's when she says Padilla grabbed her, took her to his car and molested her.

Padilla is scheduled to be back in court next month.
