Three Arrested In Connection With $18,000 of Graffiti Vandalism

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- Three people are behind bars Monday after Santa Barbara Police say the suspects spray painted sidewalks, curbs, streets and a water meter with graffiti.

19-year-old Jose Emmanuel Carachure, 19-year-old Jesus Antonio Aguirre, and 20-year-old Eric Rodriguez were arrested Sunday just before 3am.

Police received reports of a suspicious car parked on Via Alicia. When officers arrived they found the men hiding behind it and noticed the damage.

The vandalism is worth $18,000 and the suspects have been booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail for felony vandalism with a bail amount of $20,000.
