Santa Barbara Man Arrested For Running Marijuana Grow Operation

SANTA BARBARA, Calif- A man is in jail for running a marijuana grow operation from his house to supply marijuana dispensaries in the Los Angeles area, said police.

Officers were able to detain 31-year-old Walter Stanley at a traffic stop while they were serving a search warrant at his house Tuesday morning.

Among the items seized during the search of his residence were approximately 80 marijuana plants, approximately 5 pounds of processed marijuana, approximately $2000.00 in cash, and one box of 25 shotgun shells.

The plants, when fully mature, would have produced approximately $120,000.00 worth of marijuana, said police.

Stanley was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail for possession for sale of marijuana and cultivation of marijuana, both felonies.
