Man Arrested After Beating Another Man With A Hammer

NEAR PASO ROBLES, Calif.- A man is behind bars Wednesday after beating another man multiple times with a hammer, during an argument over money.

The suspect has been identified as 38-year-old Roger Glenn West. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Deputies say around 5:00pm Tuesday they received a call from Aluffo Road in the Running Dear Ranch area that two men were arguing. That's when they say West began attacking the victim with a hammer.

The victim was life-flighted to Twin Cities Hospital with critical injuries. As for West, he's been booked in the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
