Posted: Updated:

ARROYO GRANDE, CA – [July 19, 2012] – Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH), a Dignity Health member which also includes French Hospital Medical Center and Marian Regional Medical Center, invites the community and members of the media to our Golden Anniversary Celebration. Throughout the years, the landscape of the hospital has changed but our dedication, quality of health care service and compassion has been unwavering.

On Thursday, August 9, the Community is invited to join us for a commemorative ceremony which will look back at the hospital's last 50 years and take peak at what is in store for the future. The ceremony will be held at the entrance of the hospital beginning at 11 a.m. Tours of the facility and refreshments will take place following the ceremony from noon to 2 p.m.

Tours will include viewing of the hospital's new state-of-the-art surgical and imaging equipment, the Central Coast's newest acute rehabilitation unit, healing garden and the Grand Opening of the Loving Cup, the hospital's coffee and gift shop. At 1:30 p.m., a cutting of the cake ceremony will recognize the first anniversary of the hospital's Acute Rehabilitation Center. For all of these events, no RSVP is necessary. For more information, the community may call 473-7600.
