SHELL BEACH, Calif.- Two people have been arrested and two others have been booked at Juvenile Hall after Pismo Beach Police says they were trying to break into cars.
It happened in the 100 block of Naomi where police say four males were opening unlocked cars around 4:00am Thursday morning.
When officers arrived three of the suspects saw them, drove off in a car and quickly left the area. Officers were able to stop the vehicle with the three subjects a few blocks away. The officers were also able to locate another suspect that was walking in the area.
19-year-old Brandon Reid Selken of Nipomo and 19-year-old Ronald Thomas Ambrosius of Arroyo Grande were booked at San Luis Obispo County Jail. Two male juveniles, both age 17, from Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria were booked at the Juvenile Service Center.
The involved vehicle and all of the stolen property was brought to the Pismo Beach Police Department for identification purposes, no word on what was stolen. Officers are still attempting to contact all of the property owners that reside in the area.
