FionaLOMPOC, Calif- Some good news for a dog who was stuck in a fence for several days, Fiona and her doggie pal Angel have been adopted.
Angel, who was rescued from the same house as Fiona, is already at her new home and is doing well, said Jill from Shadow's Fund. Fiona is still at Shadow's Fund recovering but she should be able to join Angel at their new home on Sunday.
Fiona was rescued by police after she was found with her paw stuck in a fence. According to rescue organization Shadow's Fund, Fiona was in the fence for several days. Several concerned people posted Fiona's story on Facebook and through social media were able to spread the word about the dog.
The vet still does not know the full extent of Fiona's injuries and though her foot is not broken she may have nerve damage.
