Amber Alert Issued for 16-Year-Old; Suspects are Alleged Killers

MONTEREY CO., Calif. - Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old who was apparently abducted Saturday night from San Ardo, near the San Luis Obispo County line, and police believe they're headed south.

Now - sheriff's deputies say Eunice Serrato's kidnappers shot and killed two others.

Monterey County Sheriff's Deputies say the suspects are father and son.  Juan Manuel Salazar is 19-years-old and the other suspect is his father -- 39-year-old Juan Salazar, Sr..  

Juan Manuel is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.  Deputies say he may be wearing glasses.  Salazar Sr. is about the same height, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Officials say both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, and could be headed to Mexico.
