UPDATE: Parents of Missing Girl Say She Called Them

MONTEREY CO., Calif. - Eunice Serrato, the girl believed kidnapped by a father-son duo in San Ardo, apparenlt called her mom this morning, saying only that she was safe.

This afternoon, Serrato's mother told Central Coast News she got a call from Serrato from a prepaid cell phone number.

Police were unaware of this information as of this afternoon.
