Colorado Shooting Suspect Charged with Murder, 116 Counts of Attempted Murder

CENTENNIAL, Colo- The man at the center of the shooting rampage at a Colorado movie theater has been charged with 12 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder, reported the Associated Press.

Investigators said James Holmes began stockpiling gear for his assault months ago and booby trapped his apartment with the intent of killing any officers the night of the theater attack, reported CBS News.

According to CBS news, Holmes is not expected to enter a plea today.
