San Luis Obispo County Deputy Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

LOS OSOS, Calif - A San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested after a domestic violence incident, said the department. John Pozdolski was off duty at the time of the incident.

"The Sheriff's Office holds our employees to the same or higher standards than other members of the community," said department spokesperson Tony Cipolla in a news release. The department is conducting an internal investigation and Pozdolski is on paid administrative until the investigation and court process is over.

The Sheriff's office is not releasing any more information about this case because it involves personnel matters that are protected by law.
