SANTA BARBARA, Calif- If you get caught using a company credit card to buy toys at Disneyland, then it may not be the happiest place in the world for you.
The former chief of Santa Barbara County's Mosquito and Vector Management District, Brian Passaro, was arrested earlier this month for spending public money on personal expenses. He was with the district for a three year tenure and is accused of spending between $4,000-$10,000.
Among other things, the District Attorney's office said that Passaro spent money on toys at Disneyland for his kids, products from Amazon.com, and even pizza for Superbowl Sunday.
After he was arrested, Passaro posted a $25,000 bail. Passaro is scheduled to be in court for an arraignment on August 10th.
