TEMPLETON, Calif- Two people were killed last night after a head on collision. A 62-year-old Paso Robles woman was driving her Lexus down highway 46, west of vineyard drive. She tried to illegally pass the car in front of her, over a double yellow line, instead she smashed into a 50-year-old Nipomo man in his GMC truck. His truck went over this side of the road.
"The driver of the GMC was transferred to the Sierra Vista Medical Center, a few hours after the collision he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the sport utility passing on the wrong side of the road died at the scene," says Sgt. Tim Neumann, from Templeton CHP.
This incident is still under investigation of whether any drugs or alcohol were involved.
