GOLETA -- Just after 11:30 P.M. Tuesday night the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department received a call of a man that had just been stabbed.
The Sheriff's Department says the man was transported to Cottage Hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Officers say he was stabbed in the field between Highway 101 and the CVS Pharmacy.
The Sheriff's Department doesn't have anyone in custody at the moment, but Officers say they are following up on what they believe to be solid leads.
