SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The attorney representing convicted killer Lee Leeds has filed a notice to appeal in his case
Leeds was convicted and sentenced last month for killing his father, Robert Leeds, and three other men at his father's auto salvage business, Black Road Auto, in 2008. Leeds plead guilty by reason of insanity for the shooting rampage.
Leeds is currently serving life without parole. He has been ordered to pay tens of thousands of dollars in restitution to the family members of his victims.
