Paso Robles Police Make Arrest for Attempted Homicide Last Month

PASO ROBLES, Calif. -- Paso Robles Police have taken into custody the man they believe is responsible for shooting a 25 year old man, last month.

Police say 21 year old Rojelio Aviles of King City is accused of shooting Luis Angel in the chest back on July 28th at the Dry Creek Apartments.

Angel is still recovering from his injuries.

Aviles was arrested on Thursday at the Monterey County Jail in Salinas, California.

Paso Robles Police say they are currently working with the Monterey County Sheriff's Department to determine whether Aviles is also linked to a July 28th, 2012 gang related double homicide in San Ardo, CA.
