Local Gas Prices Tick Up 30 Cents in One Month

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Prices at the pump are shooting back up again.

According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of gas is $3.69. That's up thirty cents from a month ago.

In Santa Maria, prices went up six cents this week. The average today sits at $4.13. That's a thirty cent increase since last month.

Analysts say prices should keep going up at least through labor day, but they won't get as high as they did in April.
