SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif- Deputies are looking for a 55-year-old man who went missing Saturday after he crashed his Mercedez Benz SUV into a tree on the 2500 Block of Alisal Road, near Nojoqui Park.

According to deputies, Kurt Brimberry has not been seen since a witness told police they saw a man matching his description walking toward the Alisal Guest Ranch after the accident.

The SUV was totaled and responding emergency workers were not able to find Brimberry. A search of the area by the Sheriff's helicopter, dogs, and Sheriff's Search and Rescue personnel revealed no leads. Deputies also said that Brimberry's cell phone was left on the front seat.

Brimberry may require medical attention because of the collision and a previously existing medical condition, said deputies.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light blue polo shirt and Topsider deck shoes.

If anyone has any information please call 911 or the Sheriff's Department Dispatch center at (805) 683-2724
