Fallen Power Line Sparks Fire

NIPOMO, Calif.- Fire crews put out a grass fire burning in Nipomo Wednesday evening.

It happened just after 7:00 p.m. on the 1100 block of North Mesa Road. Cal Fire says the blaze was less than a quarter of an acre. Officials have confirmed with Central Coast News the fire was started by a fallen power line.

No damage was reported and the fire was contained within minutes.
