San Luis Obispo Police Find Illegal Campsite in Strange Place

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- Friday evening police got a call about a possible illegal campsite. But when they got to the location, they found something rather unusual.

Several people were seen drinking on the roof top of a business located on the 600 block of Higuera Street. When police got there the people were gone but they left behind a bunch of stuff.

Apparently they had built an illegal campsite on the roof of the business, said police. The campers left behind so much garbage that police said it could be a fire hazard.

Police are asking people to check their roofs and if you suspect someone of is living on it to call the police.
