CAMBRIA, Calif.- San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office tells Central Coast News a 59-year-old man collapsed on a tractor he had been using to fight a brush fire on Tuesday.

The brush fire started in the 5000 block of Santa Rosa Creek Road in Camrbia by a rancher welding corral fencing on the property adjacent to the road. When Cal Fire arrived they say Wade Lee Rhoades, 59, was unresponsive and was pronounced dead. The cause of death is still being investigated.

Cal Fire was able to put out the fire within minutes and the fire burned less than a quarter of an acre.
