SANTA BARBARA, Calif- A 36-year-old man was arrested Tuesday amid allegations that he raped ad 14-year-old girl at a party in July.
Police were notified about the incident earlier in August and began investigating. Based on witness description on tattoos, police believe that Roger Navarro Pulido was the suspect.
Pulido was arrested Tuesday afternoon as he was riding a bicycle down Milpas Street, said police.
Police say that once he was in custody, Pulido admitted to having sex with the victim. According to police, he claimed it was consensual.
Pulido was booked into jail for the felonies of rape by force or fear and lewd acts upon a child.
