Late Night Fire at Diablo Canyon

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - Construction activity sparked a small fire near Diablo Canyon Tuesday night.

It broke out just before 7:50 p.m. Tuesday near the outer security fence and the ocean, which is outside the protected area of the plant.

The Diablo Canyon Fire Department was able to put it out in less than 20 minutes.

No damage or injuries have been reported.
