SANTA MARIA -- Just after 2:30 A.M. Thursday morning, the Santa Maria Police Department responded to a robbery at the USA Gas Station on E. Stowell.
Police said a man entered the store, showed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk gave him the money and the suspect ran from the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a male, 19 to 20 years old, approximately 5'5" to 5'6" tall, and with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with a black bandana covering his face, black pants and white shoes.
