ATASCADERO, Calif. - The Atascadero Police Department is investigating an assault and robbery that occurred a few weeks ago and still need your help finding the suspects.
The crimes happened around 9:45pm at the Sunken Garden Park in Downtown Atascadero on August 18th. Police say the 20-year-old male victim says he was physically assaulted with an unknown object by at least one suspect, possibly three. The victim sustained minor injuries - including multiple fractures to his face. After the assault, the suspects stoke the victim's wallet and cell phone.
The three suspects are described as white males. One of them is described as tall with dark hair. The victim said the suspects fled the scene in a black Pontiac.
