Santa Maria Gang Member Arrested for Perjury

In February 2012, Arturo Granados testified in his own defense in a Santa Maria Superior Court. As a result of this testimony, gang detectives were able to open an investigation.

But during the course of that investigation, evidence was found that showed Granados was untruthful during his testimony.

Granados was arrested on Friday and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Arturo Granados is a resident of Santa Maria, and a known street gang member. He is 20 years old.
