ORCUTT, Calif.- Charges have been filled against the man accused of killing his father, 73-year-old William Reid.
Deputies say 40-year-old Brian Keith Reid shot his parents, killing his father and leaving his mother in critical condition. Reid lives in Santa Maria and according to a Facebook search, he comes from a pretty large family.
Reid gradated from Santa Maria High School in 1989 and Central Coast News was able to determine he has family members living in the area and has at least one daughter.
Reid was arrested at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria and has been booked into Santa Barbara County jail on charges of Murder and Attempted Murder.
