More Teens Are Using Seatbelts in California

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - More teens are buckling up in California.

Over the past two years, the number of teens using seatbelts bumped up two percentage points to 96.1 percent.

The state is taking credit for the good news saying programs like Every 15 Minutes, Start Smart, Right Turn, Teen Smart, and Friday Night Live where seat belt usage is emphasized are working.
