Overnight Shooting At The Buckboard Motel In Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA -- Just before 3:00 A.M. this morning SMPD officers were dispatched to the Buckboard Motel on 1620 South Broadway, regarding a shot fired in the area.

When officers arrived on scene they found an empty room with blood splatters.

A short time later, a gunshot victim arrived at Marian Hospital.

The victim said there was a verbal argument, ending with her being shot. She is expected to be ok.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Santa Maria Police Dept.
