AROMAS, Calif. -- The Monterey County Coroners Office conducted an autopsy Monday for the San Benito County Sheriff's Office on the body discovered on Cannon Rd. near Aromas last Friday.
The autopsy confirmed the deceased is an unidentified female possibly between the age of twenty and thirty-five years of age. She has dark hair and dark colored eyes. The female looks like she is possibly Asian or Hispanic.
It is undetermined at this time the cause of death. Detectives still have to process more evidence and wait for lab results to be returned in order to determine the exact cause of death and the identity of the female.
The body was found in a heavily wooded area a quarter mile from Chateau Drive on Cannon Road.
San Benito County Sheriff's Detectives were able to confirm that the unidentified female is not Sierra LaMar, the 15-year -old Morgan Hill teen who went missing March 16th.
