Man Behind Bars After Gang-Related Murder

SANTA MARIA, Calif.- A man is behind bars Sunday after a gang-related murder in Santa Maria last month.

Santiago Alvarez is accused of stabbing a victim on July 28th. Police have been searching for him for a month, but was located Sunday and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail in lieu of a one million dollar bond.

Alvarez is charged with attempted murder and gang enhancement.
