Morro Bay to Discuss Measure Q

MORRO BAY, Calif.- Another issue will be discussed at tomorrow night's city council meeting in Morro Bay. How does the city plan to ensure funds from a city district "transaction tax" will be used properly?

The half-cent tax, also referred to as Measure Q was approved by voters back in 2006.

The city council wants to make sure the money is used for improving the fire department, enhancing public safety, street and storm drain maintenance.
