Fish & Game Finds Owner of Monkey that Severely Bit A Paso Roble - KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - News

PASO ROBLES, Calif. - Fish and Game, along with San Luis Obispo County Animal Services, have found the owner of an illegal pet monkey that bit a woman in Paso Robles last week.

William Goodson has admitted to owning the primate for 22 years, as well as bringing the monkey in from Texas.  The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney will now handle the case.  Goodman faces fines and jail time. 

The woman who was bitten is expected to recover.  The monkey is still being held at Zoo To You. Right now, Zoo To You houses 16 monkeys they have retrieved from illegal pet situations.
