SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Santa Maria Police are searching for a woman they believe got into an argument and tried to crash her car into the victim.

According to police around 2:06 am on 9-11-12, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Lark St and Enos Dr in response to an assault with a deadly weapon.  The investigation revealed the following;

Ubaldo Mariano Escamilla-Aguilera, 19, of Santa Maria and Victoria Betancourt, 18, also of Santa Maria were involved in a verbal argument with each other near the intersection of Lark St and Enos Dr.  After the argument, Escamilla-Aguilera got into his Ford Explorer as Betancourt got into a Buick sedan.  Betancourt then proceeded to ram Escamilla-Aguilera's vehicle with her own vehicle.  After ramming the vehicle, Betancourt got out of her vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

An area search was conducted but Betancourt could not be located. Anyone with any information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Santa Maria Police Department.
