Santa Maria Woman Rams Car After Argument

Santa Maria Police are searching for a woman after she rammed her car into an SUV after an argument.

At about 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning, officers were dispatched to the residential intersection of Lark Street and Enos Drive in Santa Maria to respond to an assault with a deadly weapon. Their investigation revealed two teenagers who were involved in an argument, 19-year old male Ubaldo Mariono Escamilla-Aguilera and 18-year old female Victoria Betancourt.

Escamilla-Aguilera got into his Ford Explorer after the argument and Betancourt got into her Buick sedan. Betancourt then rammed her car into his SUV. She got out of her car and fled the scene on foot. An area search was conducted but Betancourt was not located.
