Pedestrian Killed When Hit by Automobile

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in an unincorporated area of Santa Barbara County.

Police say it happened on Hollister Avenue just west of Arboleda Road just before 9 Tuesday night.

According to authorities the pedestrian walked into the road was hit by a car.

The accident is under investigation.
