ENSURE THE PARK DISTRICT IS MAKING SOUND FINANCIAL DECISIONS WITH TAXPAYER MONEY

I would review expenses with a fine toothed comb. I would also review the decision making process behind salary increases for staff. I would stand for a sustainable allocation of future liabilities.

ENSURE THE BOARD FOLLOWS THE MISSION STATEMENT OF THE PARK DISTRICT

After thorough discussion, I would work to craft a pledge and action plan amongst all board members to help the board better adhere to the MPRPD's founding principles.

INCREASE ACCESSIBILITY TO THE PALO CORONA PRESERVE. I would work with current board members and staff to implement a final plan to make Palo Corona accessible to the public. This means adequate public parking, not the permit system as it currently stands.
