Police Pursuit Ends With DUI Arrest

PASO ROBLES, Calif.- A woman led Paso Robles Police on a slow pursuit on Highway 101 and it ended with DUI arrest.

The suspect is 57-year-old Joyce Thornton of Morro Bay. Thornton was arrested for drunk driving and evading police.

Officers followed her on Highway 101, then Thornton got off onto Highway 46 and finally pulled to a stop at Theater Drive.

Police say she will be held until sober, then released on a promise to appear in court.
