Man Tries to Fight Police Officers at Atascadero Burger King

ATASCADERRO, Calif. - Atascadero Police say a man tried to fight them at a Burger King. It happened at the restaurant on the 8300 block of El Camino Real around 11am.

55-year-old Bruce Stelma was arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance, threatening both customers and employees. When officers arrived, they say Stelma put up his fists and tried to fight them.

Officers used a non-lethal taser on him, but Stelma still tried to flee. He ended up falling and was taken to Sierra Vista Medical Center. He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on two counts of resisting officers.
