OPEN THE MARINA VETERAN'S AFFAIRS (VA) CLINIC, A 100,000 SQUARE FOOT MEDICAL FACILITY FOR VETS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Open the VA clinic asap by staying in touch with the planning and construction process to ensure it stays on track. Sept. 13, 2012, Marina Planning Commission approved Site Plan and rough architectural design.

CONTINUE BALANCING CITY BUDGET

Balance budget by increasing revenue and jobs for example a) building permit fees from new developments such as theatre and VA Clinic, b) 50-80 new manufacturing jobs at Marina Airport, and c) continue supporting business promotions and other partnerships in Marina to increase hotel and sales tax revenue.

CONTINUE PARTNERSHIPS WITH CSUMB TO EMPHASIZE MARINA'S IMAGE AS A GREEN, UNIVERSITY TOWN

Advance university town image by constructing student housing next to CSUMB, organizing downtown Otter Day festivals, and working to promote university events available to Marina citizens such as the Summer Arts Program events thru at least 2016.
