SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- San Luis Obispo Police have arrested a man they say crashed his car into a mobile home early Sunday morning just after 1:00am.
According to police, 27-year-old Phillip Garcia, of Los Osos, was driving his car westbound on Tank Farm at a high rate of speed. Garcia attempted to turn southbound on Higuera and lost control of his car, crashing into the mobile home. Garcia who had to be extracted from his vehicle, sustained minor injuries and the two homeowners were uninjured in the collision.
Police also found Garcia was intoxicated and was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of DUI and reckless driving. Garcia was transported and booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
