LOMPOC, Calif.- Lompoc has added a splash of color to its city. Local artists worked together Saturday to get wall-sized murals done in just one day. As many as 30 colorful murals are now seen throughout the streets of Lompoc.
Some residents say this new art is not only for the eyes, but helping the Central Coast economy.
"It's gotten around California that we have a lot of pretty murals and people do come here just to see the murals," says Nancy Jacobs, a resident of Lompoc.
Some of the volunteer service groups who participated were: Lompoc Rotary Club, Vandenberg Village Lions Club and the Lompoc Kiwanis Club.
