CAYUCOS, Calif. - High school students in Cayucos attend school in the Coast Unified School District, which means they can't go to Morro Bay High School which is in the San Luis Coastal Unified School District. That could change by the 2014-2015 academic school year.
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 19, where a consultant will present the potential financial and demographic impacts of a transfer to a San Luis Obispo County committee. The committee will have until December to make a decision. Voters would have to approve any decision and June 14 is the earliest it could go up for a vote.
