K9 Unit Almost Hit During Monday Night Police Pursuit

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A marked K9 unit was almost hit Monday night by the driver who is still behind bars.

Police say Anthony Neuroth raced up alongside the K9 car in the 6400 block of Hollister around 9:30 Monday night.

Neuroth took off and lead police on a pursuit down Highway 101 that ended near Mariposa Reina where he was taken into custody.
