SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Almost a quarter of a million dollars worth of marijuana have been seized by multiple law enforcement agencies in San Luis Obispo.
500 marijuana plants were confiscated Thursday morning after Los Angeles Police Department along with San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Deputies found a growing operation inside a warehouse on the 700 block of Fiero Lane in San Luis Obispo.
"There's a sampling of the marijuana from each one of the rooms that was at the location, it is taken and put in a box about 20 pounds worth and that will be booked as evidence to be analyzed and the rest is destroyed," says Detective A. Williams, Los Angeles Police Department.
The drug bust comes after LAPD says two San Luis Obispo men were arrested back in August for distributing marijuana throughout the Los Angeles area.
"They had all kinds of crazy locks installed and some type of security system and the locksmith was trying to open the door for a half hour I guess without any success, then he finally was able to get it open," says Daniel Green, a nearby employee.
Employees who work close by say they had a feeling something suspicious was going on.
"It became apparent after a little bit, they were very suspicious, they would kind of open the door slightly and then nobody would look inside," says Janice Go, a nearby employee.
No arrests were made at the location and Los Angeles Police say the two men who were arrested back in August have posted bail and are expected to face charges.
