Santa Barbara Clinic Offering Heart Scans

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The health-wave clinic in Santa Barbara is now offering heart scans and checking other internal organs. The heart scanner looks for calcium deposits in your coronary arteries. Doctors say your "calcium score" is the best way to assess your risk of heart disease. The machine also uses less radiation, compared to other body scanners.
