No Criminal Charges for SBCC Student Who Brought Gun to Class

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - No criminal charges will be filed against the Santa Barbara City College student accused of bringing an air soft gun to class, according to Santa Barbara Police.

Officers say the gun was made out of clear plastic and did have an orange tip on it, which symbolizes that it was fake.

A student brought the gun to class twice the week of September 18, causing a scare among students.

Mental health officers are now investigating the case.
