SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - City officials in San Luis Obispo will revisit the homeless parking ordinance for a second reading.
The ordinance was passed last week as the city's latest attempt to address the growing issue of homeless people living in their cars.
It explains that people who camp in their cars will be ticketed instead of being charged with a criminal offense.
It only applies for night time hours between 10 p.m. And 6 a.m.
The ordinance will take effect in October.
