Iconic American Singer, Andy Williams Dies

BRANSON, MO. - Andy Williams has died in Branson. Williams was born in December 3, 1927 and is an American singer and entertainer.

His publicist confirmed his death to CBS News. Williams was 84 years old.  Perhaps best known for his version of "Moon River," Williams recorded eighteen Gold and three Platinum-certified albums.

He also hosted The Andy Williams Show, a TV variety show, from 1962 to 1971.
