Rodeo Clown Resigns After Making Inappropriate Joke

CRESTON, Calif- A rodeo clown who made a political joke abut the first lady at the Creston Class Rodeo earlier this month has resigned.

Michael Hayhurst is the superintendent of a group of charter schools and the board accepted his resignation effective October 1st. Hayhurt is accused of making inappropriate comments about Michelle Obama while working as a rodeo clown in Creston.

The remark received national attention, he later apologized.
